Lefty's

In May of 2014 Karlee Mann graduated college from the University of Wisconsin Whitewater  with a degree in business. In September of 2014 Karlee purchased Lefty's Chicago Style Hot Dogs from the previous owner, Diane. Diane started Lefty's in 200o from the ground up and served genuine Chicago style food. When Karlee took over in 2014 she kept the same menu, but also added more options. As of 2018 Karlee purchased a new trailer for Lefty's where she is now capable of serving gourmet burgers.

Lefty's is a concession trailer that is located North of Elkhorn close to Lauderdale Lakes. With the business operating out of a concession trailer it is impossible to run the business year round as the water pipes will freeze. Our season runs from April-October. We always try and open April 1st every year, but sometimes weather and Easter make that a challenge. Lefty's is also closed on rain days, which will always be posted on the Lefty's Chicago Style Hot Dog Facebook page.

In 2017 Karlee expanded the business. She purchased a food truck called Lefty's Too that operates at special events. Those events include: weddings, food truck festivals, graduation parties, fairs, and many other events.
